About Me:
Deputy Director of the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University Library since February 2024.
Before that, worked as the Library General Expert at Nazarbayev University for about 9 years.
In 2000–2015, was the Director of the Fundamental Library of the Belarusian State University, in 2001–2004 - president of the Belarusian Library Association.
In 1997-2009, part-time, as a senior lecturer, lectured and conducted practical classes at the Department of Information and Documentary Communications of the Belarusian University of Culture and Arts, and also taught advanced training courses for library workers at the Belarusian State Institute of Cultural Issues.
In 1994–1999, Head of the Automation Department, and then Deputy Director for New Technologies of the Yakub Kolas Central Scientific Library of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
In 1991–1994, Head of the Automation Department of ELEMA clothing factory, in 1981-1991, software engineer, researcher, Head of the laboratory of the Central Research Institute of Organization and Technologies of Management.
Graduated from the Department of Applied Mathematics of the Belarusian State University (1981), in 1996-1997, completed a professional internship at the School of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign (USA) and an internship on library management and digital libraries at the International Center for Information Management and Systems of the Copernicus University (Torun, Poland) in 2001–2002.
In 2011, participated in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) (USA) for library managers in the CIS countries and countries in Africa, Asia and Central Europe.
The author of more than 80 publications on various aspects of the contemporary librarianship.
Has considerable experience in grant seeking and project management.
Now the Chairman of the Committee on Library Standard Documentation of the Association of University Libraries of Kazakhstan since October 2022, a member of the editorial board of the journal “KitapPatshalygy.kz” since October 2020.
Since May 2023 has been a member of the IFLA Regional Division Committee for Asia and Oceania.
Awarded with honorary certificates of state bodies in Belarus and Kazakhstan.
