    About Me:

    Sarah Wade, MLS, is the Medical Librarian at the Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine at Campbell University. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in History Education from Mars Hill College in Mars Hill, North Carolina and her Master of Library Science from North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC. She is a member of the American Library Association (ALA), Association of Colleges and Research Libraries (ACRL) Medical Library Association (MLA), Mid-Atlantic Chapter of MLA, and the Association of North Carolina Health and Sciences Librarians (ANCHASL). As a member of MLA, she serves on the MLA Education Steering Committee where she is the liaison to the New Health Sciences Education Task Force, and the Collection Development Specialization Workgroup, she is also on the Physical Therapy Selected Journals Update Group and the Nursing Selected Journals Update Group as part of ANCHASL she is the ANCHASL Social Media Editor. She is also the author of two publications entitled: “Using expert knowledge and peer review to create a reproducible process for the NAHRS Nursing Essential Resources List (NNERL)” and “Exploring the Use of Common Strict Search Criteria in Nursing Literature Searches”. Sarah and her husband Paul, who is a field technician for Flowserve in Garner, NC, live in Holly Springs, NC with their daughter, Caroline, and doghter, Emma. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at home with her husband and daughter, reading, playing with Emma, and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.
