About Me:
Sarah Wade, MLS, is the medical librarian at the Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine at Campbell University. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in History Education from Mars Hill College in Mars Hill, North Carolina and her Master of Library Science from North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC.
She is a member of the American Library Association (ALA), Association of Colleges and Research Libraries (ACRL), the ACRL Health Sciences Interest Group (HSIG), Medical Library Association (MLA), Mid-Atlantic Regional Chapter of MLA, and the Association of North Carolina Health and Sciences Librarians (ANCHASL). As a member of MLA, she is the leader of the Nursing Selected Journals Update Group and as part of ANCHASL she is the ANCHASL Social Media Editor. As a part of ACRL she is the convenor of the ACRL Health Sciences Interest Group. She is also a published co-author.
Sarah and her husband Paul, a quality service inspector for Flowserve in Raleigh, NC, live in Fuquay-Varina, NC with their 8-year-old daughter, Caroline, and 13-year-old doghter, Emma. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at home with her husband and daughter, reading, watching tv, spending time with Emma, and with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.
