About Me:

I am a Library Resource Technician. I have worked at our library for 29 years. We have a beautiful campus and I enjoy working with the people in our library as well as across our campus. Our campus has been named as a Great College to Work For - 2023 makes it the 4th consecutive year. I work with print books, as well as electronic books and occasionally audio books. I am responsible for receiving them, working with the bibliographic and item records and for making sure they are properly processed for the collections. I oversee the inventory processes and reports. I work with others to create our displays to showcase new books as well as those for a particular theme. And, of course, other duties and projects as assigned. I enjoy collaborating with others and I love animals of all kinds - I cared for the birds at a local zoological park when I was younger. However, my furbabies at home are all domesticated - 2 indoor cats and 1 dog. Outdoors, there is a small cat colony that I tend to -and the occasional raccoon, armadillo and 'possum visitors.
