About Me:

I am currently the lead librarian and an online course instructor at Platte County R3 High School in Platte City, Missouri. I have also taught undergraduate composition, research and reading courses and graduate education technology courses at Missouri Western State University. I serve as a teacher consultant with the Prairie Lands Writing Project on the Missouri Western campus and have also served as a facilitator, presenter, and writing assessment scorer for the National Writing Project. I am a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism who loves learning and teaching about a range of topics but especially those where history, literature, social issues, current events and/or the media intersect.
