I'm a teacher librarian & recently started a community based blog for getting boys to read - http://GettingBoysToRead.com. Please send me a friend request if you'd like to network, share ideas, and learn more about getting boys to read.
I am an outspoken advocate of the centrality of the Library Information Centre as the hub and foundation of the curriculum. I continue to read and learn to gain a deeper understanding of international educational theories & practices, curriculum, learning and teaching, and take as many opportunities as possible to develop collaborative teaching projects, promote and integrate information, communication & learning technologies across the curriculum. My academic qualifications include a Master of Education (University of Toronto) and a Master of Library Science (University of Toronto). I have recently embarked on my Ph.D. thesis in education.
