Full Session Description (as long as you would like): Are you responsible for outreach and engagement to students and seeking fresh program ideas? Come to our presentation to hear a liaison librarian and recent graduate student leader relay their experiences crafting programming specifically for information sciences masters students. This innovative model centers on open discussions from graduate students relating their authentic concerns about their journey into the profession led by a practicing librarian. What started as an invited lecture morphed organically into an ongoing series of events called “Coffee with Calantha,” with the vision to create a community belonging for current students and future librarians.
