I'm a teacher librarian & recently started a community based blog for getting boys to read - http://GettingBoysToRead.com. Please send me a friend request if you'd like to network, share ideas, and learn more about getting boys to read.
I've just got back from a fortnights break. Good to see you on Ning too. There is lots to explore and I'm finding it really useful in terms of learning new things as well as getting some ideas and knoweldge sharing. I've even manged to help my sister set up her own Ning network called Parramatta Filmmakers. It was very easy to do and the perfect platform for a small community group of filmakers who want to share their knowledge. Good luck with your study.
Thanks to all those who have added me as a friend to this amazing network. I'm still coming to terms with this new technology, so will take a while to get into the swing of it. My other excuse, is that I'm immersed in study at the moment. I'm attempting to do my teaching degree (25 years too late!) and right now the only reading I'm doing is the NSW BOS PDHPE Module document. I have to develop a unit of work for PDHPE and I reckon that method is about as far removed from my focus in the Library as I can get (apart from Maths). Holidays are great, but they are much better with a novel, preferably a thrilling mystery. Hope everyone else is enjoying school holidays :-)
Hi Beth, you got here quickly!! Find Marion and Lisa, and invite them to be your friends, and give them as surprise. Lisa has been busy posting on the forum etc. so she is easy to spot. What is that funny number after your name? Why have you got that there? Have a nice Easter :-)
